Being healthy means different things to different people. Regardless of who you are, being healthy does not have one definition. However, most will agree that being healthy involves your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. A sense of homeostasis, a feeling of being grounded, confident, feeling strong in your mind, your body, and your spirit. This involves healthy eating, habits, thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs.
We are creatures of habits. Our daily rituals are what build vitality, healthy habits, and reinforce your actions. So choosing health and wellness is the first step towards creating long-term health goals!
My hope is that “A Daily Dose” will help you create a blueprint for Healthy Living: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually; that you will connect with a real person who speaks authentically about the challenges and rewards of Healthy Living. I hope to:
- Inspire you
- Challenge you
- Encourage you
- Provide a practical way to make positive changes
- Introduce you to new products, clinical studies, and research in healthcare
- Provide testimonials and stories — my own and others in my nursing career that will make you laugh and possibly cry
- Provide you with helpful health-related resources
- Possibly, show you a different perspective on health-related subjects
My blogs will be based on experience and knowledge from 25-plus years of professional nursing. Also, from my own life experiences failures, successes, and traumatic experiences that lead to great victories.
Throughout the years, I have educated many patients, students, friends, and family with living their healthiest life. I would be honored to have you come along with me on this journey of “A Daily Dose” and receive a word fitly spoken for your life and may it be exactly what you need!
